Blackberries are a tart fruit that I like to use to add a splash of flavor to my breakfast routine. The dark purple hues of this tart yet flavorful fruit can be added to anything from breakfast cereals, salads, even pizza! They are packed with antioxidants and some studies suggest that these antioxidant compounds may have potential health benefits against cancer, aging, inflammation, and neurological diseases. Anything this delicious and with this much potential; count me in! I like taking blackberries and using them in unexpected ways, so I have included a recipe that combines yummy pork with a delicious blackberry sage sauce.
