Making humus at home is simple, and much cheaper than the grocery store! Here are the simple steps!
Get out your food processor and start adding the following ingredients:
Garlic Cloves, 2-6 depending on taste
Olive oil, 1/4 cup or so to start with
Garbanzo Beans - Drained and rinsed
Roasted Red Peppers - 4-5 large slices
Salt and Pepper to taste
Blend all of the ingredients well. Remove the lid and check for consistency. If it isn't as smooth as you like add more olive oil and blend again. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
