Nothing is more satisfying than the sizzling sounds of veggies being cooked with steak. What a wonderful meal any day of the week. Here is a quick and easy way to make this delicious dish:

12 oz. Flank Steak
1 Red Onion, cut into strips
1/2 Green Pepper, cut into strips
1/2 Red Pepper, cut into strips
2 Tomatoes, diced
2 cups Romaine Lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup Fresh Salsa
1 T Chili Powder
1/2 tsp. Oregano
1/2 tsp. Paprika
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp. Cumin
1/8 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper

  1. Combine the chili powder, oregano, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper and coat the meat. Let sit for at least an hour or overnight in the fridge.

  2. In a nonstick frying pan, add some olive oil and cook the steak over medium heat until seared on both sides, about 2 minutes each side. Remove from the pan and finish cooking in the oven (at 350 for 8-10 minutes).

  3. Meanwhile, add a little more olive oil and the onion and pepper strips to the pan and sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Remove the meat from the oven, and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Then, cut it into 1-inch pieces.

  4. Serve with remaining toppings and enjoy, you can put it all on top of some fresh tortillas, or eat the delicious mixture all by itself!
